Dinner was truly a highlight. I savored local flavors expertly prepared and presented. The private bath was a gem, perfect after a long day exploring Miyajima. Each member of the family running this ryokan was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. I appreciated the cleanliness and the cozy atmosphere throughout. On the downside, finding restaurants nearby in the evening was a bit challenging. While the room was comfortable, it would have been nice to have a broader selection of dining options for late-night cravings. Overall, a charming experience with a few minor issues, making it a lovely spot to enjoy traditional Japan.

the location was decent, but the only negative was the noisy tourists next door at 3am. Also, a brand new set of towels would have been appreciated—one cannot simply expect hand-me-downs, right?
